| Lewisville Emergency Notification |
Posted on Mar 26th, 2012
The City of Lewisville Police Department has notified us of a new service available to residents of Lewisville. The new system, called DeltAlert, will allow the Police to notify residents of emergency situations in specific areas and also offers features such as weather alerts for specific locations. You can program the system to send alerts to your home, business, cell phones, as well as emails. If you previously signed up in the Code Red system it will NOT transfer to the new system so you have to go to the website and sign up
You can register at the City website at the link listed below:
http://www.cityoflewisville.com/wcmsite/publishing.nsf/Content/Emergency+Notifications
Click on the big red arrow, register, read the terms and privacy policy, and you signed up! Be sure to check the National Weather Service Alerts box if you want those messages, too. If you want that info, enter your address (with City & State) in the Location Lookup box and agree to the terms.
